What is this blog all about?

It is often said that every little girl grows up dreaming about her wedding day. Perhaps there is some truth to that. But what if that little girl is a tomboy, or a jock, or a lesbian, or a boy? When we grow up, how do we make our dreams a reality?

As queer folks, we are continually redefining marriage and family. With that comes redefining weddings and style. Imagine your wedding. What would you wear? What did you wear? Where would you shop for it? How do you find the perfect outfit when you don't fit into a tidy little box? Sad News! Melissa and Tammy Lynn Etheridge Split!

Melissa and Tammy Lynn are splitting up! Perez Hilton reported it first early this morning. The article linked here has more details. I like the part where the writer refers to them as one of those celebrity couples that other people admire for being together for a long time. It's sweet.

InStyle Weddings magazine was there, and they featured the event on their celebrity weddings television show.
