What is this blog all about?

It is often said that every little girl grows up dreaming about her wedding day. Perhaps there is some truth to that. But what if that little girl is a tomboy, or a jock, or a lesbian, or a boy? When we grow up, how do we make our dreams a reality?

As queer folks, we are continually redefining marriage and family. With that comes redefining weddings and style. Imagine your wedding. What would you wear? What did you wear? Where would you shop for it? How do you find the perfect outfit when you don't fit into a tidy little box? Please send me your thoughts and pictures so we can create a resource for all the queer folks out there who don't know what to wear to their weddings. Iceland Passes Gay Marriage Law in Unanimous Vote!

Jane Lynch and Lara Embry marry in Massachusetts on Memorial Day

Jane Lynch and Lara Embry married on Memorial Day in a small ceremony in Massachusetts. They met and fell in love at the NCLR Gala last year while I was sitting at the next table. Jane wore a cream-colored wrap blouse and black pants, and Lara wore a white and black cocktail dress. They kept it simple, and it sounds like it was a lovely day.
