Excellent reading for gays and straights alike! I'm particularly happy that it addresses my favorite topic--what to wear and what that means.
What is this blog all about?
It is often said that every little girl grows up dreaming about her wedding day. Perhaps there is some truth to that. But what if that little girl is a tomboy, or a jock, or a lesbian, or a boy? When we grow up, how do we make our dreams a reality?
As queer folks, we are continually redefining marriage and family. With that comes redefining weddings and style. Imagine your wedding. What would you wear? What did you wear? Where would you shop for it? How do you find the perfect outfit when you don't fit into a tidy little box? Please send me your thoughts and pictures so we can create a resource for all the queer folks out there who don't know what to wear to their weddings. The decision that said denying marriage rights to same-sex couples was unanimous. Now, 3 of those 7 justices will have to be replaced. Much like the situation with Prop 8, most of the money for the campaign came from out-of-state groups who can't stand to see equality grow anywhere including the fear mongers from National Organization for Marriage.

When the Bride Take a Bride, Businesses Respond

When you can't find a publication that helps you plan your wedding, sometimes you have to start your own. Gay marriage may not be legal everywhere, but businesses are sprouting up that cater to gay couples tying the know. And other businesses are adding products and neutralizing their language to be more inclusive.
