Iowa Supreme Court Judges Ousted by Same-Sex Marriage Foes

The decision that said denying marriage rights to same-sex couples was unanimous. Now, 3 of those 7 justices will have to be replaced. Much like the situation with Prop 8, most of the money for the campaign came from out-of-state groups who can't stand to see equality grow anywhere including the fear mongers from National Organization for Marriage.

Customize Your Suit by Making Your Own Buttons

Here is my lovely bride, Sunny, making her button for the white suit she wore for our wedding. She bought this inexpensive button cover kit and used material left over from the hemming of her pants. It was easy to do, and it made the suit into the perfect wedding outfit.



Tip: Moisten the fabric first so it is more flexible.

Sunny and I are off to Boston on Monday for our elopement/destination wedding/honeymoon. The forecast calls for rain all week so we are hoping that changes so we can be married outside and take some great photos. According to "The Advocate" only 40 NOM supporters showed up and they were met by 250 gay marriage supporters. The sign clearly says who made it. I would just like to add a few other gems from Leviticus.

Leviticus 20:10 (New International Version) 10 " 'If a man commits adultery with another man's wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death."
Leviticus 15:19 " 'When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening."
