What is this blog all about?

It is often said that every little girl grows up dreaming about her wedding day. Perhaps there is some truth to that. But what if that little girl is a tomboy, or a jock, or a lesbian, or a boy? When we grow up, how do we make our dreams a reality?

As queer folks, we are continually redefining marriage and family. With that comes redefining weddings and style. Imagine your wedding. What would you wear? What did you wear? Where would you shop for it? How do you find the perfect outfit when you don't fit into a tidy little box? Please send me your thoughts and pictures so we can create a resource for all the queer folks out there who don't know what to wear to their weddings. Survey on Queer Wedding Fashion

This survey asks some great questions about queer wedding fashion and how folks feel about wedding traditions and symbols and how they would like to interpret them in their own weddings. It's a project for a fashion design class at California College of the Arts.
