What is this blog all about?

It is often said that every little girl grows up dreaming about her wedding day. Perhaps there is some truth to that. But what if that little girl is a tomboy, or a jock, or a lesbian, or a boy? When we grow up, how do we make our dreams a reality?

As queer folks, we are continually redefining marriage and family. With that comes redefining weddings and style. Imagine your wedding. What would you wear? What did you wear? Where would you shop for it? How do you find the perfect outfit when you don't fit into a tidy little box? Please send me your thoughts and pictures so we can create a resource for all the queer folks out there who don't know what to wear to their weddings. Conan O'Brien Officiates a Gay Wedding on His Show

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/04/conan-obrien-gay-wedding_n_1075414.html
"The late-night talk show host made television history Thursday night by officiating the wedding of longtime costume designer Scott Cronick and his partner David Gorshein on the stage of New York City's Beacon Theatre in what may have been first-ever on-air same-sex wedding."

Cronick designed his own wedding outfit.  Conan was back in New York celebrating the first anniversary of his new show, and they marked the occasion by taking advantage of the newly won right to marry in New York state.
